Directions to Harvard
Most Harvard locations are within a few minutes walk from the center of Harvard Square. The Harvard University campus map indicates the most common destinations, including the Admissions and Financial Aid Office.

Due to traffic patterns in and around Harvard Square please allow an extra 20-30 minutes of travel time.
From the West (I90 - Massachusetts Turnpike)
Take Exit 18 (Cambridge/Allston). Bear right after the toll booth at the end of the exit ramp. At the third set of lights (over the bridge), turn left onto Memorial Drive. After the second set of lights, turn right onto JFK Street. Go through two sets of lights to reach Harvard Square. At the third set of lights, turn left onto Brattle Street, where there is metered parking.
Parking
Parking is difficult, so please allow an extra 30-40 minutes to find commercial lots and garages in the area. Should you decide to take your chances and park at the meters (which we don't encourage), please bring a roll of quarters with you, as we don't have petty cash in the office and the meters won't take smaller coins or credit cards. Also, if you do choose to park at a meter, please pay careful attention to the signs associated with the meter you select as cars are towed by the City of Cambridge on designated street cleaning days.
On-street parking is scarce in Cambridge, but there are several public parking lots and garages. There is also parking available at the Harvard garages on Oxford Street and Broadway on weekdays. You may purchase a pass online. You will need a printer to complete this transaction and when prompted, select: Department: Admin. & Financial Aid, Department Code: 3003. From Logan Airport
By subway (the "T")
Take the SILVER Line to South Station. Switch to the RED LINE inbound (toward ALEWIFE), go six stops and get off at HARVARD. The subway ride from Logan Airport takes approximately 45 minutes. The fare is $2.00.
By taxi
The ride to Harvard Square takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs about $35.
From South Station (Bus/Train Station)

Take the RED LINE toward ALEWIFE from South Station six stops to HARVARD SQUARE.
